4.3L V6 Powered
The Willys Overland company introduced the Jeepster on April 3, 1948, rather late in the model year, and this sporty, open-bodied car has a spot in history as the last true phaeton introduced by a major automaker. Designed by the legendary Brooks Stevens, only 19,000 vehicles were manufactured from 1948 to 1950.
Back in the mid 90’s I fell in love with a Jeepster on the showroom floor of the local Jeep dealership. What a fun summer car. - It's got a 4.3L V6 and three-speed manual on the floor. New fuel tank, new brakes and new red interior with black piping. The carpet is newer and very nice. The soft top has been replaced/rebuilt and all the side curtains and boot rebuilt to match. I've been driver this Jeepster around town frequently and she has been reliable.
