Here's a rare 1967 NAS FJ45 long bed pickup. This original paint example is powered by a later Toyota 1.5F engine from the early 70's. The original 1F 135 engine had a burnt piston and is included in the sale if desired.
The body on this truck is solid an there are many photos that show the sheet metal and patina in detail. You can see exactly what you’re getting here. The owner has invested in making this FJ45 mechanically sound while leaving what time has created alone.
Brakes rebuilt with all new hard/soft lines, master cylinder, rebuilt calipers, cylinders, shoes, pads and rotors. The transmission is in good working order - both high and low range. Steering box rebuilt with Toyota parts. Both front and rear axles that have been upgraded using later FJ40 axles resulting in front disc brakes and Warn locking hubs. The rotors have been turned and new calipers installed. The rear has new axle seals, shoes and cylinders. New soft lines as well. The truck stops well. Radiator and cooling system gone through. Recent tune-up and rebuilt carb. Fuel tank boiled out and fuel system gone through.
Very original interior. She needs headliner and dome light re-installed. Seats just recovered in correct ‘Coral’ covers. New foam, rebuilt frames/springs and new lap belts. All gauges and controls work except odometer. Heater core rebuilt with radiator. Wiring is very clean/unaltered Truck will fire right up after sitting for weeks at a time. New terminal blocks on inner fenders under hood. The paint on the exterior and interior cabin is believed to be original.
She sits on BFG AT tires with OEM correct wheels and acorn hubcaps. Undercarriage shows some detailing and suspension appears to be stock.
