Stock Idaho 76 Classic

Trucks like this 76 FJ40 in this price range usually don't last long. It's not perfect however it's a nice honest example that you can drive and enjoy while you take her the next level if you like. I was up in Hayden, ID last fall visiting a good friend when we came across this truck for sale near Boise.  The owner was a nice woman who had owned the truck for 20 years. The FJ40 spent most, if not all of it's life in Idaho.

She's a stock example that could be improved with a little paint and body work in a few areas. At some point in the past, the truck was re-painted and looks very presentable but the repairs are not what most would consider professional. She looks rough in the rear quarters and I can all but guarantee there's some body filler in there.

My friend had her detailed under the hood. The truck is mechanically sound. The interior shows original upholstery in back and newer vinyl on the front seats with new seatbelts. The factory mats and headliner are original as is the metal center console. The 31x10.50 BFG Mud Terrain tires appear barely used and are wrapped around white spoke steel wheels resting on a stock suspension. The shocks appear to have been replaced at some point.

This FJ40 has her original drivetrain, suspension, 2F engine and 4-speed manual transmission all in good working order.  An electric fuel pump was added in the past and she starts right up when you turn the key and runs and drives well.

The Land Cruiser comes with a bottle jack, a considerable folder of service history and one set of keys.
