Rebuilt - Restored - Reimagined

This 1978 FJ40 was painstakingly restored by Scott Gesik of Restored FJ40 in Oregon. Scott has been in the business of creating breathtaking restorations for years and his work is second to none. Over 1500 hours of work was invested creating this beautiful FJ40.

Toyota power steering was added along with air conditioning from Cool Cruisers of Texas. The vehicle was totally disassembled or dissected as Scott says and rebuilt from the ground up with a freshly rebuilt 2F engine. The frame was powder coated and every component was restored or replaced to create the equivalent of a new showroom FJ40. The transmission and drive train were gone thru and returned to like-new condition.

The truck has recently received $15K worth of additional work and upgrades and much of this was done at Trollhole's Cruisers. The truck now has an Old Man Emu suspension, OEM style 16" City Racer gray steel wheels and hubcaps are wrapped around new 33x10.50 BFG All Terrain Tires. A new Warn winch, Ceramic paint coating and other upgrades and improvements were made. (see receipts in the gallery.)

Note - Some of the photos in the gallery picture this Land Cruiser prior to the addition of the winch, Old Man Emu suspension, 16" wheels and new BFG tires.

This is one hell of a nice FJ40!
