Here's a silver metallic 1985 BJ60 with a 3B Turbo Diesel engine and a 5-speed transmission.

The truck was converted to LHD. The current owner purchased this BJ60 in 2020 and the truck is ​reported to be a solid rig that runs and drives amazing. Located Abbotsford, BC (Canada).

In 2003/04 this JDM Land Cruiser 60-series high roof was imported  from Japan by an respected and experienced Land Cruiser building and he completed a RHD to LHD conversion and engine swap. He reportedly built the truck for his wife at the time.

 

the RH to LH conversion involves swapping the firewall on a RH truck with a LH firewall and with that the VIN plates of the BJ60 are used.  Everything from the firewall back is all HJ61.

Always garaged when not being driven, this Land Cruiser has power steering, power windows, power locks, power antenna, power mirrors, Bluetooth audio and more.  The truck was repainted in it's original Silver in 2020. The body & frame are in very good condition. Owner reports a couple small bubbles in the paint. New windshield and all other windows in good shape (new drivers side regulator and motor installed on 10/25/22.) All body emblems are present. GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac 31X10.50R15LT tires are reported to be in good condition and are mounted on after-market aluminum wheels. The truck rides on an upgraded Old Man Emu Dakar suspension. The truck also has a very nice Front Runner roof rack that can accommodate loads of gear!

Engine and Mechanical

The 4-cylinder Toyota 3B Turbo-Diesel engine runs smooth and has been serviced at regular intervals. The 5-speed manual transmission in good working order - both high and low range and shifts smoothly. A new clutch was installed in the fall of 2021. The owner had many of the gaskets replaced in late 2021. Brakes are good and were checked in Oct 2022.

Interior

Original seats had new covers added. Carpet appears to have been replaced and is protected with after-market mats. The headliner has been professional cleaned. Option include, power windows, power locks, power antenna, power mirrors, new Kenwood eXcelon Bluetooth audio. 

There is a slight 1 inch crack in the dash but it is not visible unless you are standing on the side rails and looking down on the dash. A kill switch has been added in one of the factory original accessory locations.
