This FJ62 shows just over 130k miles and is sold with a clean AutoCheck report as well as a clear Oklahoma title. I sold this 1988 Land Cruiser FJ62 to her current owner in 2013. She belonged to a family in Colorado that kept her parked in a garage in the mountains for use during family vacations.

Power is delivered from her original fuel-injected 4.0L straight-six mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The injected 4.0L 3F-E straight-six was new for the FJ62 model. Specifications are 155 horsepower with 220 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, 2-speed transfer case, and front and rear differentials. This truck is stock with minor modifications including Bluetooth Pioneer audio.

The original Toyota white (045) paint and brightwork shine well. There are precious few defects for a truck of this vintage. OEM chrome wheels wear new Firestone Destination tires, with the original Dunlop spare mounted underneath. New shocks in 2014 and new radiator in January 2019.  Badging, lighting, and factory trim are complete throughout.

The interior is well-preserved throughout. Stock items include the 2-spoke steering wheel, shifter, and passenger grab handle. OEM striped fabric upholstery presents well with some visible wear on the drivers seat bolster. I have the correct OEM material for the new owner to have this repaired.

 

Instrumentation includes a tach and a full suite of secondary gauges. The 6-digit odometer shows 130600 miles, All accessories work as they should. The large rear cargo area is given additional space by a flat-folding rear bench seat.

 

The body is rust free and straight and the interior is in great condition. The truck runs excellent and has received regular service throughout her life. Suffice to say that this is one clean, well cared for (garage kept), and unmolested FJ62.
