This 1978 Olive FJ40 underwent a refurbishment process that was started by the previous owner in 2018, and it was completed by the current owner following their purchase in May 2019. The truck was repainted Olive, and the interior was re-trimmed in black upholstery. Power comes from a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional work included a rebuild of the front axle and carburetor, as well as a refresh of the fuel tank, and the replacement of the radiator and various engine cooling components, clutch components, the front brakes, and exterior and interior trim. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, Bilstein shocks, rear ambulance-style doors, a Warn winch, a heater, and rear jump seats.
