When I sold this truck to my customer in 2015, we called her Ol’ Blue! She was an original paint FJ40 with some retro hand painted pin stripes. Spent most of her life in Colorado owned by a retired mechanic. She had some minor rust in the rear quarters and rear sill but it wasn’t too bad. I have photos before and after.

Since then, her owner has invested more than $15,000 to make her into what you see today. The rust was cut out and metal welded in. She received a new paint job inside and out in her original color, new upholstery, headliner, Tuffy locking console, new tires, Weber carb and a lot more.  

This FJ40 has her original drivetrain, suspension, 2F engine and 4-speed manual transmission all in excellent working order.  She springs to life when you turn the key and runs and drives great. Everything works except a stuck odometer. 

Recent service includes new BFG tires, new alternator, new Optima battery, new valve cover gasket, recent tune-up, new plugs, new Weber carburetor, new steering gear box. New brakes in 2015

The owner says it’s time for a new project so Ol’ Blue is on the market. She comes with the original carb and air cleaner and any other parts that were worth saving. You also get a sweet pair of tubular half doors, bikini top, bumperettes, original console, jack and any other extras the owner has.
