This dazzling 1980 FJ40 was recently purchased from the original owner in Colorado and underwent restoration. The truck had some minimal rust that was all replaced with new steel. The truck was repainted in her original 854 Blue color. She retains her original engine, transmission and drivetrain and runs and drives beautifully. compression numbers are reported to be an average of 120 across all cylinders. All emission equipment is present.

She is finished in her original Sky Blue over gray upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. Mechanical work carried out by the owner include complete engine tuning, new seat foam and upholstery, New 2.5" Rough Country suspension, removed and repainted seat frames and roll bar, new headliner, new door weatherstripping, floor heat and soundproof barrier and more

The seats have been reupholstered in gray vinyl and the headliner has been replaced. Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, and amperage.  The five-digit odometer shows approximately 95300 miles, just over 3500 of which were added by the current owner over the last two years.

The 15″ steel wheels wear 31x10.50 Toyo Open Country AT tires, including the spare mounted out back. The wheel have period correct hubcaps. The frame is in great condition and free of rust.​
