1970 Green FJ40 with 1979 Specifications - Built in July of 1969 and registered as a 1970. This might as well be a 1979 or later FJ40. She has all the features of a late model FJ40 plus CA smog exemption being manufactured in 1969. The majority of the work was completed in 2010. Under the hood is a 2F engine with approx. 62K miles mated to a factory four-speed transmission which was added in 2013. The 4:11 gears were swapped for 3:70 to improve highway speeds.
The truck looks stock but she has numerous upgrades for drivability and safety. Power steering and front disc brakes have been added. Comfortable bucket seats with shoulder harnesses in place of the split bench with lap belts. She was fitted with a factory roll bar and stock jump seats. A safety feature not mandated until 1974.

The headlights have been upgraded to Koito H4 55W (White Beam) Halogen.
