This FJ62 shows just over 73k miles and is sold with a clean AutoCheck report as well as a clear California title. I sold this 1989 Land Cruiser FJ62 to her current owner in 2018. I drove her from Reno Nevada to Hayden Idaho over the course of a couple days. She's a family owned California Land Cruiser that moved to NV and now resides in Taos, New Mexico. Not kidding here folks, this is a super nice FJ62. I loved driving her and would be high on the list among the best wagons I have ever owned.

Power is delivered from her original fuel-injected 4.0L straight-six mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The injected 4.0L 3F-E straight-six was new for the FJ62 model. Specifications are 155 horsepower with 220 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, 2-speed transfer case, and front and rear differentials. This truck is stock with right down to the AM/FM/Cassette.

Still wearing her original Toyota Dark Grey Metallic (155) paint and has always been garaged so the paint is very nice. There are precious few defects for a truck of this vintage. OEM chrome wheels wear newer Kuhmo tires, original spare mounted underneath. Recent work includes 60K checkup and prescribed maintenance, brake service, new starter contacts and oil pan gasket.

The interior is well-preserved throughout. Stock items include the 2-spoke steering wheel, shifter, and passenger grab handle. OEM striped fabric upholstery presents well with minimal wear.

 

Instrumentation includes a tach and a full suite of secondary gauges. The 6-digit odometer shows just over 73K actual miles, All accessories work as they should. The large rear cargo area is given additional space by a flat-folding rear bench seat.

 

The body is rust free and straight and the interior is in great condition. The truck runs excellent and has received regular service throughout her life. Her new owner will not be disappointed!
